Local Luxury firm Daniel Ravenel Sotheby’s International Realty was featured in the San Francisco and Silicon Valley Market last month on a popular radio show in that area. Ruthie Ravenel was featured as the guest star of Real Estate Radio Live on Friday May 27, explaining Charleston’s economy, culture, and real estate market and promoting the company’s listings to a captive audience in California.
Recently Ravenel attended the Global Networking Event in Las Vegas, a luxury real estate conference exclusively for Sotheby’s International Realty agencies. At the event, Ravenel connected with Buddy Saupe and Bobbi Decker from Today Sotheby’s International Realty, a luxury brokerage in the San Francisco Bay Area and Silicon Valley. They invited Ruthie to star on the show the following week.
Ravenel highlighted the many economic successes Charleston has been enjoying with companies like Boeing, Mercedes and Volvo setting up shop in the area. She also talked about the very busy real estate market, which has record low inventory and has shown strong price increases in many areas year over year. When discussing trends in the marketplace, Indigo Park was in the discussion as a new green built, LEED certified community on Kiawah Island. Additional topics included the many opportunities for recreation and cultural pursuits in the area. Of particular interest was Spoleto Festival USA which has just concluded in the last weekend. The Briars Creek Community on Johns Island was highlighted as an ultra-exclusive golf retreat, and the host Joe Cuccierra even promised to visit Charleston to play its celebrated course.
The recent luxury conference in Las Vegas had over 2,400 participants from the Sotheby’s International Realty network, and included training and networking opportunities. “Events like the Global Networking Event allow us to build friendships and strong business relationships with brokers in our feeder market,” said Ravenel. “This recent radio interview is just another great example of the ways that our clients can directly benefit from these relationships.”
