I met Anne several months ago. As a real estate investor, when I meet a Realtor I always ask them to keep me in mind if they see something interesting. After 3 1/2 years in Charleston, Anne was the first realtor to actually follow up. She sent me information on a property which I put an offer on. While in my due diligence period, Anne was there every step of the way. She found different subcontractors, negotiated a better price, and researched different options for the property. While I did not ultimately make that purchase, I was so impressed with Anne I knew she would be my Charleston Realtor from then on. We were convinced it was the right city but we were not very familiar with the real estate market. Anne Edson was assigned to help us with our search. As a lifetime local, Anne was very insightful and patient as we searched every area in the Charleston region. While some of the beach communities were very enticing, we became convinced that we would be much happier in the heart of the city. During our three day visit, we did not find a home that met our needs but Anne did find us a terrific downtown waterfront rental for the winter/spring of 2013. This would provide a great opportunity to learn more about Charleston and continue our search. We returned in February 2014 for our 3 month rental which further convinced us that this was the place to be and helped us understand why a more serious financial commitment was in our best interest. Anne continued to identify buying opportunities during our stay and was able to get us early access to a 15 year old house South of Broad which was constructed to fit the historical pattern on the community. We were sold immediately. Made an offer in a couple of days and closed in May 2014. It is two seasons later and we continue to be extremely happy with our purchase and the life it has provided us in the heart of beautiful Charleston. We look forward to the many more years to come. We also feel that our investment is very sound at a time when it is difficult to find good investments. We have also remained in close contact with Anne and her husband Fred who have helped to acclimate to the community in many ways. We would strongly recommend Anne as your realtor. She is enthusiastic, qualified, patient and a lot of fun to be around. We could not ask for anything more in a realtor.

When we decided to sell we learned that our floor plan only worked for a small segment of the market. Knowing Jennifer lived in Ion and was an expert on the neighborhood, we hired her to sell our home. She used artful and very effective staging to draw in a far broader "market" for our home. Jennifer has an eye for design and she knows what buyers are looking for. Although we were anxious about selling from out of town she handled every aspect of the process for us and closed a sensational sale, getting us top dollar!
